Initial Registration / Reservation

 

 

Initial registration for the Julian Family Fiddle Camp is simple, requiring the completion and our receipt of your "Application Form" and a non-refundable deposit of $65 per applicant.  Please note that your application provides us with necessary details, and our receipt of your deposit reserves, but does not secure, your space at the camp.  Securing space requires full payment of fees.

Address for mailing or faxing printed applications is noted on the application forms themselves.   Please note that payment of deposits and remaining fees should be made via check to the address noted on the forms (There will be a $25 fee for checks returned for insufficient funds).   

 

Complete Registration

 

Complete registration involves filling out and returning a signed "Release Form" and, if relevant, a "Chaperone Agreement Form".  The "Release Form" and "Chaperone Agreement Form" may be viewed by clicking on the highlighted terms. 

 

Early Payment Discount

 

While your reservation is made through receipt of your application and associated deposit, securing your place requires full payment of fees.  Since space is limited, priority is established according to the date FULL PAYMENT is received.   There are significant discounts for early payment of fees, with these clarified in the following "Fee Schedule" section.

 

 

Family Discount

 

There is a discount for families with two or more members attending the camp.  The Family Discount is clarified in the following "Fee Schedule" section.

Fees

 

The base fee of $625 entitles an adult participant to be a part of all instructional classes, workshops and tutorials offered at the Julian Family Fiddle Camp, assignment/use of a bunk in one of the cabins at Camp Cedar Glen, meals for the duration of the camp, evening jams, and entry to the Camp's Friday and Saturday night dances and concerts.  Those not engaged in the instructional classes but accompanying someone who is may participate fully in dance and dulcimer workshops and other on-site activities (e.g., archery, climbing tower, organized hikes, etc.)  Fees vary according to age, choice of accommodation, whether or not he/she is part of a family group attending the camp, and the date full fee is paid. 

 

There are two different fees for accommodations.  One is for reserving and staying in one of the camp's cabins, and the other for either parking your RV or pitching your tent in the designated area at the facility.  The fee for those who choose to commute from a nearby location is the same as those who are camping on site.  There is no fee reduction for those who choose to eat elsewhere.

Deposits


A non-refundable deposit of $65 per person is required in order to reserve  space at the camp, with this equally applying to those particpating in instruction and those not participating in instruction.  While received deposits reserve space, they do not secure your space.  Space is only secured upon receipt of full payment of your fees.  Please note:  Space is limited, with bed, RV and tent space allocations made according to availability and in order/date full fee is received. 

Discounts


Discounts are offered for additional family members attending camp, and for those making early full payments as per the schedule noted below:   

 

 
Required Deposit $65 per person effects reservation.
Family Member Discount $20 per person after first full-fee adult
Early Payment Discounts 10% of total if received before December 31, 2016
5% of total when received before January 31, 2017


Refunds


Refunds less deposit will be made only upon cancellation made in writing with confirmed receipt prior to March 1st, 2017.  Deposits are non-refundable.
